Our Music Director

SPM is privileged to have at our helm, our founder, and conductor/music director of the last 40 years, Maestro Mark Churchill. Learn about his extensive career and numerous contributions to musical life locally, nationally, and internationally.

The Scope of our Musical Offerings

Symphony Pro Musica (SPM) is celebrated for its ambitious programming, under Maestro Churchill's direction, bringing classical masterpieces and hidden gems to life. Collaborating closely with local choruses and vocal talents, we weave a captivating tapestry of opera, choral, and instrumental works. Spotlighting remarkable female composers and soloists from diverse backgrounds, our performances create a truly captivating experience.

The Symphony Pro Musica Musicians

As a volunteer orchestra, all the musicians of SPM play for the love of music, the experience of playing in a high level ensemble, and the joy of sharing their passion with our audiences. Players represent a variety of backgrounds. For example, those who have professional performance degrees, current and retired school music educators, college age students, and accomplished amateurs. Every member is essential to the success of our performances!

SPM Board of Directors

The SPM Board of Directors works diligently to increase our visibility in the community and build our audience. We encourage your comments and suggestions.
