Openings for the 2023-24 Season

Symphony Pro Musica is seeking players for the upcoming season! Auditions are held by arrangement.

Players should prepare two contrasting solo works and three to four excerpts of their choice. All instruments are very welcome as subs and/or for waitlists.

Based in Hudson, MA and now celebrating its 41st year, SPM is a high level, ambitious volunteer community orchestra serving MetroWest and Central MA and conducted by Mark Churchill.

Current openings

  • Strings, especially 1st violins and cellos, but all are welcome to audition.
  • Clarinet II
  • Bassoon III/Contrabassoon
  • Trumpet III
  • Percussion

All instruments are very welcome to audition for subbing and/or waitlists
